Grower & Winemaker's Notes

This fruit comes from a 30 + year-old vineyard off our Home Ranch nestled in the Russian River Valley. The cane-pruned vines ensure a low yield of approximately 2.5 tons/acre which creates incredibly intense aromas and flavor profiles through carbohydrate concentration. Unlike typical Gewürztraminers, this wine was fermented to a bone-dry level and introduced to malalactic bacteria and French oak, lending the light-bodied wine a creamy mouth feel, yet preserving the refreshingly crisp flavors. This wine pairs beautifully with crab or seafood cake, lobster bisque, and also taste great with a classic Caesar salad.

Tasting Notes

Fresh notes of citrus and tropical melon aromas, a light creaminess on the mid, and a delightful crisp fresh finish; this dry Gewurztraminer resembles a Sauvignon Blanc/Pinot Gris. Super tasty on those hot summer afternoons wandering aimlessly through the garden.
