TO OUR HEALTH!!! Recently, there's been tons of news about a natural chemical compound found exclusively in the skins of red winegrapes called Resveratrol. This compund had been initially found to be good for the heart and somehow assists on fighting cancerous cells, however there's new evidence that appears to blow open the doors of science and get a lot of labcoat wearing folk super excited. 2009 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Three. local vineyards all farmed by Harvest Moon. This elegant style Pinot Noir offers intense perfumes and rose pedals with a clean crisp finish of spicy red cherry/pomagranite.
2008 Dry Creek Cabernet Sauvignon: This single-vineyard Cab is the purest form of Cabernet with easy tannins, low oak and only 12.8% alc, this 100% Cab is how they used to make Cabernet Sauvignon in the 70's. We offer this 6th vintage of Cabernet Elegante! For members receiving this wine in the February wine club, be patient, she's only an '08;)
Olive Oil Season
We just bottled our 2010 vintage Estate Olive Oil. With only 300 bottles (not cases) produced, we expect it sell out by early summer. $22/bottle. Call 707-573-8711 for orders!
Olive oil season begins in late October and continues until mid-December. We hand harvest our olives grown on the Estate Grove and process them with a small Italian mill. We encourage those interested in learning more about how olives are grown and produced or if you have olives and want them produced into oil to email us at info@harvestmoonwinery.com.
