Grower & Winemaker's Notes

The 2003 RandyZin is a compilation of 5 different wines grown from various regions in Sonoma County and Napa. Three of the components were crafted by Harvest Moon and the other two were sought out from other local wineries. Approximately 20% of the master blend came from a Cabernet Sauvignon blend lending this wine to bottle-age for some years. The oak schedule was 25% new American-French UMX barrels. This wine has it all. Inside you will find balanced complexity via toasty caramel oak and layered candied fruit at a good value.

To us, RandyZin represents our desire here in Sonoma County to truly enjoy life and not take ourselves too serious, yet still be able to “lasso the moon” when we are feeling frisky.
